She does go out of her way to be a bitch, mainly looking to generate an excuse for a physical altercation. She prefers people who are strong to spend time with, but can stand weaklings if they know their place. If she likes someone enough, she will be fully calm and even doting with them.

History

Yamiyo was born to a Human Lunarian consort of Tsukiyomi-no-Mikoto at around 400 BCE, sometime after Amaterasu-no-Mikoto spurned him for killing Ukemochi. Yamiyo was thought at first to become a good heir to Tsukiyomi, only for her birth being the reason the Moon gained its signature dark side. She from that point was considered to be an ill omen incarnate, but was still taken care of by her mother.Yamiyo grew up becoming a spiteful being, though her anger was usually pointed away from the moon and towards other realms. She disliked Amaterasu for leaving her father over a little bloodshed, she disliked the other kami for being so passive in general. She disliked Humans for their sheer weakness, and disliked Yokai for their lack of actual cohesion.She used that anger to fuel her training at least when she remained home, but it didn't take long at all for her to descend after getting a bit bored with having nothing to kill. When she came to the earth and started to maim and kill, to grow her power with worship and with reputation, that's when her domains finally unlocked, and she was properly tethered to concepts.Her origin, her efforts, those were the things that eventually granted her power, allowing Yamiyo to slowly start ascending as a proper Kami instead of a half god. Soon enough with that came a spike of ego, and she started wandering the isles in search of other divine children to test their mettle. If she wasn't impressed, they were promptly put to the sword, their parents playing no role in her decision on whether they will continue to waste breath in her presence.Some of the less morally righteous gods starting using her as a tool of "Post-Birth Abortion", sending undesired Hanshin to her for the slaughter. This also indirectly was a sacrifice from the gods to Yamiyo, massively boosting her power, and when she found out the ploy, she forced those gods into pacts that would accelerate her ascendancy further. Soon enough though, this practice was cracked down on hard by the imperial court, but not before Yamiyo had already gotten what she wanted.Her domains are now solidified, her power unrivaled among fellow children of the gods. She proceeded to become a weapon of use when the Shinto pantheon started butting heads with other religions. Battlefields with corpses became repositories for ammunition, the darkness cast by a hail of missiles became a far greater weapon than those being hurled at their side. She became a butcher of mooks, a killer of sergeants, and an obliterator of officers.Each enemy was but a meatbag filled with blood, their only actual worth. And eventually, after casualty report after casualty report was merely described with "Lost with all hands", "Total TPK", "All KIA", "Full unit destruction", the wars stopped. Other pantheons stopped trying to bother with monsters like her baying for blood. Not to say other faiths didn't have their own, but clearly everyone just kept their creatures of violence on tight leashes. This was all enough at least for her to fully ascend as a Kami, instead of forever squallowing in her status and being fine with her station like many other demi gods tend to.Now with nothing to do, she grows bored, and with how massively her power increased with all the blood she consumed, she found a solution, simply go somewhere else, to a different world.

Abilities

Kami no Ryouiki 神の領域Divine Domains are the tethers between the Deity and what concepts they have a strong connection to. A lot of polytheistic deities for that reason try to grab as many as they can in order to empower themselves. Power is gained from the domain when it is either highly lauded, important for the functioning of the world, or highly feared. That is why elemental domains are sought out the most.Domains also serve as a two way road. As long as the object or concept exists, the god holding it will also exist, and as long as the god holding it exists, whatever concept or object is linked to the domain is ensured to exist. This in turn makes Gods reality anchors, with the only way to truly get rid of them being other gods or divine weapons. They are counters to reality bending abilities not spawned from authorities. However, if the domain is something artificial, like swords or cars, or something that is easy to destroy even without powers, it tends to be more fragile. The strongest domains are that of objects that live long, or of concepts.How many Domains one has access to from the start is also dependent how they come into the world. If one is a full blooded deity, Domains come prepacked, usually a variety of them either based off of their parents, or from circumstances of their birth. The acquisition of new Domains then only becomes possible by consuming other god's domains, which when stripping them of the domains could cause an adverse change in the victim. A good example is Yahweh who consumed his former pantheon to the point everyone but him was turned into a Demon.Demi-Gods and other children of the gods on the other hand come in with one guaranteed half formed domain, usually based on a domain or authority of their divine parent, and have to develop it and its sub domains into proper full fledged ones. There is also the chance of developing entirely new domains based off of feats and unnatural phenomena.

Yamiyo’s DomainsYamitsuki 闇月 The Dark Side of the MoonThe domain of the Dark Side of the Moon gives Yamiyo a massive power boost the more of a moon is showing its dark side towards the Planet she’s closest to, or if she's directly on/near that darkside of that moon. Eclipses and Crimson Moons also boost her abilities when they occur. This domain has the sub domain of Gravity, allowing her to increase or decrease gravity to make things heavier or lighter. Shadow and Darkness used to be Sub-Authorities of the domain but grew into their own full domain.Yami 闇 DarknessThe Domain of Darkness is referred to as a primordial domain, a concept that existed far before the universe and will exist far after, a subsuming concept that is prophesized in many cultures and in human science to subsume all of existence. It allows Yamiyo to control darkness and shadows, and by extension also has a sort of ‘gravity’ effect, one that can scale all the way to casually creating black holes. Darkness allows her to travel anywhere where it exists and see from it. This domain allows her to breach between different realities and travel to and fro, and as long as shadow or darkness exist wherever she ends up, it automatically connects her domains to that new reality. The Darkness Domain lends her the ability to become the dark, her form being able to shift to become completely intangible. Darkness with its association with the Void, Abyss, and Nothingness is one of the domains granted the capability of existence erasure, alongside the domains of Destruction and Light. This erasure includes non physical things like memories. It also allows her to shapeshift into animals associated with the dark, though her go to is crows. The darkness domain is the one that powers her the most, both being something conceptual, and from being an extremely feared concept throughout the history of life itself.Chi 血 BloodThe domain of Blood is a powerful one linked to life. Though Yamiyo wields it in any way aside from elegance. While Blood is only her second most powerful domain, it is the one that has earned her the strongest monikers in recent times, “The Blood God”, “Heavenly Vampire”, “The Crimson Moon”, “Khorne”, “Edgelord Supreme”, and “Lawsuits waiting to happen”. The domain gives her complete and absolute hemomancy, allowing her to use, heal from, and power herself up with blood both within her and in her vicinity. It also by extension makes her the closest thing to an outright Vampire God outside of the ones in Mesoamerica, and happily accepts blood sacrifices and in turn gives powerful boosts to mortals who honor her in such a way. This domain also makes her an extremely powerful pact/contract maker, anything signed or guaranteed with her ichor is fully binding and can enforce horrific consequences even on gods more powerful than her. Even then this domain gives her an extreme intimidation factor, and makes her horrible to fight unless you completely lack blood.血神に血を！髑髏の王座に髑髏を！(Chishin ni chi o! Dokuro no ōza ni dokuro o!)

Shinken 神権
Divine Authorities are powers bestowed to a deity outside of their domain, usually this is either granted to them by a stronger god, their parent if they actually care about them, or ones gained by completing a great feat. Divine Authorities are not absolute powers like Divine Domains, and so if faced with one will crumple like paper. This is why a majority of Divine Combat utilizes Authorities first with a mix of Domain, before just becoming an outright Domain slugmatch.Kami no Nikutai 神の肉体
The standard divine authority lent to all gods, Divine Body. This massively boosts physical powers, gives environmental immunities, takes away the need for sustenance, and makes the person ageless. Demi-Gods usually earn this through a great feat, which in Yamiyo's case was killing 10 other demi gods and drinking their blood, or if they are a favored child of some kind. Her version of Kami no Nikutai is developed enough to be able to obliterate celestial bodies with the mere shockwaves of physical strikes.Ama no Murakumo no Tsurugi no Inazuma 天叢雲剣の稲妻
Yamiyo got along rather well with her uncle Susanoo, so he granted her a divine authority for lighting, allowing her to turn into it, fire it, coat things in it, and manipulate it. She also gained a general immunity to lighting outside of ones generated by a Domain like Susanoo's or Raijin's. The color of her lighting is Black and Red, and tends to not generate light to avoid having it counteract her Domain over Darkness.Ten no Gyakusatsusha no Ōra 天の虐殺者のオーラ
Due to her casualty count jumping into the millions, eventually she just gained the ability to generate an oppressive aura outside of her divine one to make weaker people pass out preemptively. If they weren't fun to fight, they were just put to sleep, and then ended up as collateral damage whenever she fought someone worth her efforts.Eien naru Senshi no Sugata 永遠なる戦士の姿
The Divine Authority linked to combat, one that many gods earn with time. It prevents the degradation of combat skills, and allows for the creation of techniques and moves that would otherwise be impossible. Such as cutting the air multiple times with sword swipes, or even your fingers.Ten'yo Jubaku 天与呪縛
Heavenly Restriction, one of the few artificial Heavenly Authorities in being a curse a god or demi-god willingly places upon themselves. This restriction in specific is to Yamiyo, that the less worthwhile an opponent is, the weaker of an attack she is restricted to using on them. She can't just smite weak humans by spawning a black hole, instead she is reduced all the way down to calling in a strong lighting strike, or striking them with falling blood. The restriction loosens the more of a threat or belligerent the person or persons are becoming. So if for example a whole village starts burning her shrines, she can outright erase them in a massive shade.

Seinaru Busō 聖なる武装
Heavenly Armaments are the weapons of the gods, ranging from Gungnir, the Blade of Olympus, Ea, or Ame no Murakumo no Tsurugi. They are extremely powerful weapons that were used in feats that would likely not be matched by human made weapons for quite a long time.Shin'en no Tsume 深淵の爪
The sword used by Yamiyo, it is a weapon far below the likes of Ame no Nuhoko, but allow its rightful wielder to channel her Domains and Authorities through it. It is primarily linked to her darkness domain, and its primary trait outside of being a conduit is being a self healing blade. Once it was even snapped in half and simply regrew that half once bathed in enough blood. It is also by extension of its many victims and its user a cursed weapon for anyone else, and will immediately try to consume any other unworthy wielder.
